Always in sight

In the morning, place a bottle of mineral water and a glass within easy reach, e.g. onto your desk or beside the TV. It's best to put it where it is always noticeable. As soon as you have emptied the glass, it's best to refill it straight away this way you avoid unnecessary dry spells.

Good habit

Try to let drinking become an automatic reflex. Combine it with something everyday e.g. always drink a glass of water before eating, after the news or after every telephone call. A large note stuck on the refrigerator also can serve as a reminder.

How about an individual drinking curriculum? Use it to keep track of how much and when you drink thus you can check up in the evenings whether or not you have met your daily requirements. Additionally, you acquire an overview of your fluid consumption habits and can optimize them if necessary.

Drink regularly throughout the day. It doesn't make a lot of sense to drink the required 1.5 to 2 liters all at once since our digestive system can only handle 0.2 liters of liquid every quarter of an hour.
